Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the Urby mobile application and services (the “Service”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. This is a provisional version for an iOS application in development; a final version will be reviewed by counsel before public launch.

Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. (Minimum age may be raised to 16 prior to availability in the European Economic Area in accordance with GDPR Article 8.) If you are using the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms.

Your Account

You authenticate via your phone number and a one-time passcode delivered via SMS. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your device and your account credentials.

User Content

You retain all rights in the photos and content you submit to the Service. By submitting content, you grant Urby a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, display, and distribute that content as necessary to provide the Service to you and to other users in accordance with our visibility rules and your privacy settings.

You agree not to submit content that is unlawful, infringing, harassing, defamatory, or otherwise objectionable. We reserve the right to remove content and suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

Acceptable Use

The Service is intended for genuine, in-the-moment visit logging. You may not attempt to falsify your location, photo capture time, or device integrity attestations. You may not reverse-engineer, scrape, or commercially redistribute data from the Service.

Termination

You may delete your account at any time via Profile → Settings → Delete Account. We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service for violation of these Terms.

Disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is” without warranty of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, error-free operation, or that the Service will meet your particular requirements.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Urby and its officers, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service.

Changes to These Terms

We may revise these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
